I’m Sammy Azúa (she/her), a senior at Elon University pursuing a BFA in Music Theatre with a minor in Psychology, and I currently serve as the Executive Vice President of the Student Body.

I’m a proud daughter of Mexican immigrants, and everything I do—onstage and off—is rooted in gratitude, heart, and honoring the sacrifices my family made to give me this life.

At my core, I’m an actor first; I’m deeply drawn to truthful storytelling. I love characters that honor my identity and my family, but I’m equally at home in brassy, sassy, comedic roles with bite and confidence.
